Georgia-Pacific has a dedicated service team to manage RPC logistics-making sure that containers are available when customers need them and collecting them from retailers when they are empty. The logistics team leverages the 2000+ trucks that operate out of Georgia-Pacific ware-houses located across the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
Service Centers
GP's network of eight produce service centers provides a logistics edge and ensures that packaging is available when and where customers need it. RPCs can be stored at the GP service centers, ready for dispatch to customers.
State-of-the-Art Washing Facility
Georgia-Pacific's state-of-the-art washing facility ensures that GP's reusable containers meet the highest food safety standards. The containers are washed in a high temperature, ultrasonic washing tub. Sanitized containers are dried, palletized and wrapped, ready for shipment to customers.
Equipment Leasing and Service
GP can provide automated RPC assembly equipment. The company's mechanical packaging group sells or leases RPC and corrugated box-forming equipment, servicing and maintaining both GP-leased or customer-owned equipment.
