GP Chemicals offers a variety of two-part liquid phenol-resorcinol-formaldehyde RESORSABOND® resins and hardeners for wood products. The cure speeds of these adhesives may be adjusted to accommodate different needs and processing limitations. They are capable of bonding web-to-flange, web-to-web, end joints, and face laminating softwood lumber. These are cold-setting adhesive systems; however, the adhesives may be used in heated processes or with electromagnetic radiation curing. These adhesives are designed for use with many types of softwoods, including Douglas fir, southern yellow pine and Alaskan yellow cedar and can be used in the manufacture of wooden I-joints, face laminated beams and structural end joints.
