Melamine-Urea-Formaldehyde (MUF)

LEAF® C2 adhesives are a line of resins and scavengers specifically formulated to aid in formaldehyde emissions compliance. These products can be melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF), urea- formaldehyde (UF) or scavenger solutions. This family of products can aid in complying with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) for Composite Panels Phase II requirements. LEAF® resins and scavengers can be used in the manufacture of composite panels, particleboard, and medium density fiberboard (MDF).

In addition to LEAF C2 adhesives, a line of standard liquid melamine-urea-formaldehyde products is also available for the manufacture of moisture-resistant particleboard and MDF.
