All You Need Is A Framing Crew
- Installs like typical OSB wall sheathing.
- The nailing guidelines on the OSB panel are visible through the building wrap.
- Overall, a more efficient installation process than a traditional sheathing/building wrap installation.
Reduced Air Leaks
Once Nautilus panels are installed, the seams are sealed with code-compliant Nautilus® seam tape, helping to reduce air leaks. Preventing air leaks can result in improved energy efficiency for the homeowner.
Better Looking
Our OSB wall sheathing product is more uniform and consistent than what you typically find with the installation of a separate building wrap. The water-resistive barrier is fully adhered to the panel, reducing the risk of wind damage. That is a better reflection on you and the quality of your work.
Tested, Code-compliant and Warranted
Nautilus panels contain a water-resistive barrier that is recognized as complying with the International Building and Residential codes (ICC Evaluation Report ESR-2906). Nautilus wall panel assemblies meet the stringent water resistance requirements of the International Building Code, with conditions that simulate sustained 50 mile per hour wind-driven rains (IBC §1403.2 - Weather Protection). Nautilus seam tape is code-compliant per ICC ESR-2136 §3.2.
