What I do at Georgia-Pacific:
I manage the manufacturing operations at Naheola. Prior to that, I was the production manager for Naheola, and the director for the area improvement process (AIP) for the southern region in the bleached, board and paper division of GP.
What I like about Georgia-Pacific:
I like the fact that the company is based on solid "principles". The company provides opportunities for me to utilize my skills to add value and gives me the freedom to be an Entrepreneur. Being on a winning team always feels good!
What I have learned while working at Georgia-Pacific:
I've learned how to establish core values at the very top levels of the organization and how to bring them to life throughout the whole organization. Pete has demonstrated real leadership to everyone on how this should be done - especially with safety.
