October 19, 2006 -- Georgia-Pacific Resins, Inc. today announced a long-term agreement with Wilbur-Ellis Company to distribute Nitamin® Steady-Delivery® liquid fertilizers in professional turf markets, primarily in the western United States where Wilbur-Ellis currently serves its customers.

The agreement provides Wilbur-Ellis with an exclusive position to distribute Nitamin liquid fertilizers to the professional turf markets in Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington. Wilbur-Ellis also has the option to distribute the products non-exclusively in other states.

Nitamin liquid is a slowly-available nitrogen source developed and patented by Georgia-Pacific. After it provides initial green-up, the Nitamin Steady-Delivery technology keeps working steadily and dependably for an extended period of time so that fewer applications are needed to supply turf with nitrogen throughout the growing season. University turf research and golf course studies have demonstrated that Nitamin fertilizers are effective on warm-season and cool-season grasses in a variety of turf applications.

In addition to the professional turf market, Wilbur-Ellis will also distribute Nitamin fertilizer technology to the specialty agriculture and commodity crop markets.
